Synopsis movie “La Figlia del Capitano ”

The Captain's Daughter is a novel written by Russian writer Alexander Pushkin. Pijoter Grinëv, educated by his faithful groom Savelic, was sent by his father to serve as a soldier in Oremburg. En route to Oremburg in the middle of a snowstorm, Pijoter saved the life of a mysterious man, offering him a ride to the nearest inn. The vagabond thanks Pijoter. Arrived in Oremburg at the service of Captain Mironov, Pijoter felt in love with Masha, the daughter of the captain. In the fortress he met Svabrin, his antagonist, another pretender for Masha's love. Later, during the peasant revolts, Pugachev, the vagabond saved by Pijoter, during the blizzard, kills Captain Mironov and his wife, but saves the life of Pijoter. At the end of revolts, Pijoter is accused by Svabrin, of treason to being an insurgent. Masha knows how they actually carried out the facts and decides to tell his story to the Zarina, who saves Pijoter from the conviction of treason. Finally, Pijoter was able to embrace and marry his beloved Masha.
