Synopsis “Le ali”
The wings, directed by and starring Andrea Cardinals Ciro Esposito, Raffaella Rea, Sergio Friscia, Tosca D'Aquino and Remo Girone, which narrates a journey through pain and courage of a man miraculously escaped an assassination attempt.
1993: Lieutenant of the Italian Gianfranco Paglia (Ciro Esposito) is about to leave Naples and especially his girlfriend Joanna (Raffaella Rea), to go on mission in Somalia.
There, near Mogadishu, the boy joins the fellow soldiers to control the territory and bring its assistance to local populations. On July 2, during an ambush, made of stone and kalashnikov shots, four of his companions and injured him, to take them away from enemy fire, is hit by the bullets of snipers. That day, three people die and there are well twenty-three wounded, including himself.

Gianfranco after injuring his fingers could not even close, not even the little finger. The largest and most difficult fight of his life was back to move that finger.
