Synopsis

Our story takes place in an imaginary neapolitan rural village: San Gennaro sotto al Monte.

Everybody knows everybody in this village and as a consequence, with the passing of time, the initial passion that once was between young lovers and married couples in the village all but vanishes.

Things start to change when three young life-long friends, bound together by a succession of exhilarating and amorous events, meet a Bulgarian girl one day while surfing on the internet. They casually invite ‘Nadia’ to their village, and surprisingly ‘Nadia’ immediately takes up the offer confirming that she will arrive on the 23-th of December, accompanied by some of her very cute girlfriends.

The whole male population of the village starts to prepare in every way possible for the visit, by doing up an old palazzo and transforming it into a bed and breakfast for the girls to stay in, and by making regular visits to the gym to build up their muscles. The women in the village try in every way possible to keep their boyfriends and husbands under control, but it is no use.

The eastern European girls never arrive. Nadia doesn’t even exist. She was the fictitious work of three mischievous young Bulgarian boys who wanted to make some quick money by taking advantage of easily fooled men. But the whole confusion and disorder that this episode causes has a positive outcome, as the love and passion between the residents of San Gennaro sotto al Monte floods back in to the village.
