Genoa, Autumn 1943. Teglio Massimo (Sergio Castellitto), a skilled pilot well-placed Genoa in good society, a friend of people, such as Italo Balbo, accepts, reluctantly, to take a seaplane medicine in Milan to save a Nazi general. When Colonel Feuerbach (Hristo Shopov), commander of German troops in Genoa, he discovers that Maximus is jew, ordered the fascist leader Oswald Farina (Marco Giallini) to arrest and surrender.

Synopsis
Genoa, Autumn 1943. Teglio Massimo (Sergio Castellitto), a skilled pilot well-placed Genoa in good society, a friend of people, such as Italo Balbo, accepts, reluctantly, to take a seaplane medicine in Milan to save a Nazi general. When Colonel Feuerbach (Hristo Shopov), commander of German troops in Genoa, he discovers that Maximus is jew, ordered the fascist leader Oswald Farina (Marco Giallini) to arrest and surrender.
Oswald, an old friend of Massimo succeeds for a while 'to cover the pilot jew, but when the Nazi persecution come alive in the circle around him and his family began to shake. Escaped the Nazi blitz of the synagogue, Massimo helplessly to the capture of Genoa Rabbi Riccardo Pacifici (Matt Pratesi) and after some days she learns that her older sister Margaret (Carlotta Natoli) was taken by the Nazis.
